Omni: Project Alpha is a 3D third-person mini action RPG made in Unity. It combines exciting melee combat with clever 2D puzzles. The game begins with a linear, story focused tutorial that teaches players the basics of combat and puzzles. After that, players are put to the final test of the Lapuntu ship, a massive spaceship filled with challenges.

Melee combat is the heart of the game, as players take on the role of Omni to master new skills. The mix of fast-paced battles and puzzles keeps the gameplay fun and fresh.

Story

The story follows Omni an android from the ROG SAGA universe. While Omni is skilled with guns, his journey aboard on the Lapuntu ship focuses on learning melee combat. The Lapuntu ship is a floating refuge for humanity’s best and brightest G.A.M.E.R.s.

In the beginning, players experience Omni’s appearance by getting thrown into the scene. Go, one of the G.A.M.E.R.s is here to teach Omni the basics of combat. While navigating the ship, Omni acquires a not too sharp sword and has to break some barricades to continue his journey. His introduction to melee fighting and puzzles is made throughout a tutorial, setting the stage for the challenges ahead. As the narrative unfolds, Omni must face threats within the ship, proving that he could be ready to save the ROG SAGA universe.  After finishing the tutorial part, Omni has to clear 2 sectors of threats and with every puzzle solved and battle fought, Omni is getting stronger.

Theme

Omni: Project Alpha aligns pretty well with the Republic Of Gamers(ROG) theme, considering that the action takes place in the ROG SAGA. Also, the fact that the game could be considered a mini RPG, makes it a perfect choice for a lot of Gamers.
